These liquid PSX stocks are trading within a few percent of the highest price they have reached in the past year, ranked by how close they sit to that high. New highs are often a sign of strength rather than a reason for caution: leaders in an established uptrend make fresh highs repeatedly, and a break above a long-standing ceiling on strong volume can mark the start of the next leg. But not every name here is a buy — some are stretched on sentiment alone, and a high price says nothing about whether earnings justify it. The two common ways to play the list are to buy the breakout as it clears resistance, or to wait for a pullback to reduce entry risk; both need the fundamentals to back the move, so check earnings and valuation on each stock page first. The 52-week high rolls daily. For the opposite end, see Near 52-Week Low.
The highest price a stock traded at over the past 52 weeks (one year).
Not necessarily — many leaders make new highs as part of a long uptrend. Check fundamentals.
Rolling daily — the maximum closing price across the prior 252 trading days.
Both strategies work. Pullbacks reduce entry risk; breakouts capture continuation moves.
