Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced the successful commencement of gas and condensate production from the Bitrism East-1 well, following a prior discovery.
- The well is currently producing 7.0 MMSCFD of gas and 200 barrels of condensate per day.
- Production is expected to ramp up as flow stabilizes.
- OGDCL has laid a 28-kilometre, 8-inch flowline to connect the well to the Sinjhoro Plant for processing.
- The processed gas is being supplied to the SSGCL network, enhancing local gas supplies.
- OGDCL holds a 77.5% working interest in the Bitrism Exploration Licence, with Government Holdings (Private) Limited owning the remaining 22.5%.
